A student in my lab needed to write a computer game for an assignment in another class. "Can you write graphical games using python?" he asked.
"Sure," I said, "google pygame and email me any questions."
- Last week he emails me, "how do you compile python programs?" Seriously.
- Over the weekend he sends, "how do you do member variables in python?"
- Today he sends a message with some code attached: "Here's the game I made; you fly around and shoot aliens!"
How great is that? How cool is python?
